Pre-Wedding Session at Icon Studio Space

As a Toronto engagement photographer, capturing unique and deeply personal moments for couples is always a joy, and Shirley and Kelvin’s pre-wedding session at Icon Studio Space in Toronto was one to remember. Preparing for their overseas wedding in Hong Kong next year, the couple wanted this session to celebrate not only their love but also their cherished bond with their 9-year-old dog, Kiro. Since Kiro won’t be able to join them on their big day, this pre-wedding shoot became an essential opportunity to include her in their wedding story.

Planning a wedding abroad is no small feat, and Shirley and Kelvin knew that bringing Kiro to their big day in Hong Kong wouldn’t be possible. This made their pre-wedding session all the more meaningful, as it allowed them to include their beloved furry companion in their wedding journey. Kiro, being the star that she is, didn’t disappoint—posing like a professional dog model throughout the session.

Chirstmas Theme at Icon Studio Space

We decided on Icon Studio Space as the perfect location for this intimate shoot. The studio offered a variety of backdrops that complemented both the casual and formal vibes the couple wanted to capture. During the first half of the session, Shirley and Kelvin opted for a relaxed, casual outfit style. Kiro was by their side the entire time, adding a warm, playful energy to the photos. Her obedient nature and adorable expressions made her a joy to work with and truly brought the photos to life.

For the second half of the session, the couple changed into formal wedding attire, creating a stunning contrast to the casual portion of the shoot. Shirley looked breathtaking in her wedding gown, while Kelvin looked sharp in his suit. Together, they exuded elegance and grace, making it easy to see the deep love and connection they share. Kiro, of course, joined in for these photos as well, proving she could hold her own even in the most glamorous of settings.

This pre-wedding session was a beautiful celebration of love and the memories that last a lifetime. It was a reminder of how important it is to capture moments that truly reflect a couple’s story.
