A heartfelt wedding starting at Holy Cross Church, stunning portraits at Edward Gardens, and a chic reception at Byblos Uptown Restaurant.
As a Toronto documentary wedding photographer, I was honoured to capture Sherryn and Francois’ special day, filled with elegance, love, and timeless moments. The day started at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in East York, where Sherryn arrived in style in a sleek limousine accompanied by her bridesmaids. Excitement filled the air as she stepped out, radiating beauty and grace.
Before the ceremony, I arranged a special first look for the couple by the side of the church. The moment was intimate and filled with raw emotion as Francois saw his bride for the first time—a truly memorable start to their day.
Following the first look, we headed inside the church for the wedding ceremony. The ceremony itself was a lovely 30-minute affair, where vows were exchanged and love was celebrated in the presence of their close family and friends.
Afterward, the celebration continued outside the church with a dessert table, where guests mingled and enjoyed sweet treats to mark the joyous occasion. It was a delightful touch that added a unique charm to the day.
The wedding party and immediate family then made their way to Edward Gardens for wedding portraits with the newlyweds. Edward Gardens provided the perfect setting for stunning photographs, with its lush greenery and serene atmosphere offering a romantic backdrop.
As a Toronto documentary wedding photographer, I was able to capture the natural and candid moments between Sherryn and Francois as they basked in their post-ceremony glow.
Once the portraits were complete, the couple, along with their wedding party, headed to Byblos Uptown Restaurant in their limousine. The reception at Byblos Uptown was nothing short of breathtaking. The venue offered a stylish and intimate ambiance with its chic décor, and the food was absolutely delicious.
The restaurant’s modern aesthetic was a perfect complement to the elegance of the day, providing a stunning backdrop for candid moments of laughter, joy, and heartfelt speeches.
Sherryn and Francois’ wedding was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of celebrating it with those who matter most. From the traditional church ceremony to the modern flair of Byblos Uptown, every moment was thoughtfully planned and beautifully captured.
